What is Reiki?

Many people have heard of Reiki but don't know or understand what it is. The word Reiki (Ray - key) is a Japanese word derived from 2 words, Rei (Universal) and Ki (Life Energy). It literally means Universal Life Energy. This energy exists all around us.

A Reiki practitioner acts as a vessel in which this universal life energy is channeled into the body . Reiki affects different levels of your being; physical (body), mind/emotions, and spirit (or soul).

As with many alternative healing modalities, it is the client's responsibility to allow the Reiki energy to heal and harmonize them to the deepest level.

What to expect when getting a Reiki treatment?

When receiving a Reiki treatment, the Practitioner directs Reiki energy through their hands to the client. This involves placement of the hands over different points of the body. This allows the gentle Reiki energy to flow through.

In addition, if a client is experiencing troubles in specific areas, these can be visited as well.

	A complete treatment lasts anywhere from 30 minutes to 60 minutes.
	Clients relax comfortably on a massage table for the session.
	Relaxing music or sound is played softly in the background.
	Aromatherapy candles may be used to further enhance the relaxing setting.
	Stones and Crystals may be used to enhance the session.
	Clients always remain fully clothed.

At the end of the session, clients are encouraged to take time to fully awaken. A refreshing glass of water helps in this process.

NOTE: For your first visit, plan on an additional 10 minutes to review and complete required paperwork.

How much does a treatment cost?

30 minutes = $30.00 with Crystals & Stones $35.00; 60 minutes = $60.00 with Crystals & Stones $65.00

Long distance: 30 minutes $25.00; 60 minutes$45.00 (a picture must be provided)

It is recommended that a commitment to 3 to 4 sessions in to receive maximum benefits and progress possible.

Reiki Treatment Packages:

Five (5) 60 minute treatments ($ave $50.00) = $250.00

Five (5) 30 minute treatments ($ave $25.00) = $125.00

Payment Methods:

Payment is due prior to treatment. Cash, Money Orders and Personal Checks with a valid license or ID are are gladly accepted.
